IPA Playoffs (2022-2023) Match 1 Recap


Overview

The IPA 2022-2023 tournament resumes with the first IPA Playoff match on April 8th.


USC, Pomona, Georgia Tech, and Columba Law lead their respective groups to kick off the IPA Playoffs. Georgia Tech sweeps four of their five tables. Pomona is the only leading seed team to maintain the top placement.


Group A leads with 9-seed USC. 1-seed Vanderbilt trails with 11 points behind. Indiana trails USC by 15 points. Emory makes a weak performance with four total points. Still many hands to be played throughout the playoff series.

Group B leads with 2-seed Pomona. 10-seed Harvey Mudd trails with 10 points behind. Yale trails with a single point behind Harvey Mudd. Carnegie Mellon sits with two points behind Yale.

Group C leads with 6-seed Georgia Tech. The team dominates their tables by winning four of the five games. Harvard follows with 14 points behind. Manchester and Chicago Booth are 19 and 28 points behind, respectively.

Group D leads with Columbia Law. The team dominates their tables by winning three of the five games. Oxford follows with 13 points behind. Tufts and Waterloo are 16 and 18 points behind, respectively.
