IPA (2019 – 2020)

The inaugural Intercollegiate Poker Association league featured Boston University, Brown University, Cornell University, the University of Michigan, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Yale University. The $7,500 USD prize pool was generously provided by Susquehanna International Group.

The tournament began in September 2019 and concluded in July 2020. The format was heads-up No-Limit Texas Hold’em. Opposing teams of five competed heads-up in a best-of-15 match, and the first team to reach eight points won the match. Ties were broken by win-loss difference.

Boston University and Brown University competed in the IPA Finals, a best-of-25 heads-up match that BU won 14–11. BU and Brown took home $5,000 and $2,500 USD, respectively.

3rd: University of Michigan

4th: Massachusetts Institute of Technology

5th: Cornell University

6th: Yale University
