IPA (2025 – 2026) Playoffs Match 2 Recap

Overview

The IPA 2025–2026 tournament resumed with the second IPA Playoffs match on February 28.

Waterloo, Penn, Cambridge and NYU lead their groups with one playoff match remaining. Cambridge and NYU both move into first place, while Waterloo holds the largest lead of any group.

Waterloo adds 24 points and leads Group A by 18 on 53. Emory scores 23 and moves up to second on 35, while Michigan drops to third on 28. WashU remains fourth on 24, 29 points behind the leader.

Penn scores 13 points but keeps first place in Group B on 43, five ahead of Imperial. Virginia’s 22-point match lifts it into third on 32, and Wake Forest falls to fourth on 27.

Cambridge moves into first in Group C on 42 points. Warwick wins three tables, posts the best score in the group with 25 points and climbs two places to second, six points back. Boston College drops to third on 34, and Yale is fourth on 28.

NYU wins three tables and scores 27 points, the top total of the match, to lead Group D on 45. Georgia Tech climbs two places to second on 37, Dartmouth falls to third on 33, and Cornell is fourth on 25.
