Bio: Hi, my name is Dennis and I’m in the Computing and Financial Management program at the University of Waterloo. I don’t mean to brag, but I do, I taught myself how to play at the age of 9. There was a website called Miniclip.com that hosted hundreds of games you could play and many of those games had virtual trophies/achievements you could collect for your overall profile. Among those games was one called Bullfrog Poker (Texas Hold’em). I quickly realized how easy and fun the game was, and like that, I was hooked. When I got to university and saw there was a whole group of people that loved the game and were much better at it than I was, I decided to take the game a lot more seriously. I also like to play chess, solve Rubik’s cubes, and play soccer.
