Bio: My name is Reno Varghese, and I am a rising 3L at Columbia Law School. I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and I graduated from Georgetown University in 2016 with a degree in International Political Economy. After graduation, I taught for a summer in China before beginning full-time work for three years at an economic consulting firm in Washington, D.C. I spent my 1L summer at Sullivan & Cromwell, the Office of the General Counsel for the Governor of Florida, and the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Virginia. I split my 2L summer at Gibson Dunn’s Washington D.C. office and Kellogg Hansen. After graduation, I will clerk for the Honorable Jerry E. Smith on the Fifth Circuit and then for the Honorable Neomi Rao on the D.C. Circuit. I have previously taught in Panama, am proficient in Spanish, and in my spare time, I enjoy skiing, kickboxing, playing board games, and participating in trivia competitions.
