IPA 2019 – 2020
The inaugural Intercollegiate Poker Association league featured Boston University, Brown University, Cornell University, University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Yale University. The prize pool for the event was $7,500 USD which was generously provided by Susquehanna International Group.

The tournament began on September of 2019 and concluded on July of 2020. The format of the event was Heads Up No Limit Texas Hold’em. Opposing teams of five competed heads up in a best-of-15. The first team to reach eight points claimed the match point. Tie breakers were determined by win-loss difference.
Boston University and Brown University competed in the IPA Finals. The two teams played a best-of-25 heads up match with BU claiming a 14 – 11 victory. BU and Brown took home $5,000 and $2,500 USD, respectively.
